10.It there a significant difference between a studying in a state run law college and these premier law schools?
Certainly! Though the degree awarded by any university has virtually the same value; it is the learning process and the exposure, which makes all the difference. In the premier law schools, students are exposed to moot courts, legal aid clinics, well-equipped libraries, and placement with law firms.
11.When will the NLS examination notification be out?
The examination is notified in their website in the first week of January. You may log on to www.nls.ac.in Alternatively visit us at www.lawentrancecoaching.com for examination notification of all law universities.
12.How important are the Board examination marks?
The law schools only consider the scores obtained in their entrance examination. A mere 60% is sufficient in the Board exams.
13.Do I apply to all the law universities or only select few?
With very few seats available in each of these law universities namely, 47 seats in NALSAR, 57 in NLS, 80 in NLU, it is advisable to apply to as many law universities as possible.
14.There are at least six national law universities, but the rush is on only for top 3. Is it worth taking up the admission to the other law schools?
Virtually there is no difference in the curriculum, infrastructure, faculty support exposure to moots, placement support etc., offered by any of these law schools. It is just that, some Universities have been around for longer time and have already made a name.
15.Some universities are offering sub specialization such as a BA.LLB, B.Sc. LLB, B.B.A. LLB. Which one do I choose?
Except for a few different subjects, students will do the same law papers during the five years. As of now there was no specific advantage in choosing B.Sc. LLB or B.B.A., LLB.
